Bio:
Hecate Einodia, Trivia, lovely dame, of earthly, watery, and celestial frame, sepulchral, in a saffron veil arrayed, pleased with dark ghosts that wander through the shade; Perseis, solitary goddess, hail! The world’s key-bearer, never doomed to fail; in stags rejoicing, huntress, nightly seen, and drawn by bulls, unconquerable queen; Leader, Nymphe, nurse, on mountains wandering, hear the suppliants who with holy rites thy power revere, and to the herdsman with a favoring mind draw near.

She likes her clothing to be loose yet formfitting, a bohemian chic sort of look. She is a little obsessive about her hair but everyone has their vices over their looks, it does not make her vain. Her body is short but fit from her former hears as a ballet, something she gave up after high school when she realized she would never be the prima ballerina. Personality:
Hecate is what Myers- Briggs would call an INFJ (The Protector).
She lives in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the rarest of all the types.

Hecate places great importance on having things orderly and systematic in her outer world. She puts a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done, and constantly defines and re-defines the priorities in her life. On the other hand, Hecate operates within herself on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. She knows things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. She is usually right, and she usually knows it. Consequently, Hecate puts a tremendous amount of faith into her instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between the inner and outer worlds, and often results in Hecate not being as organized as she would like to be.

Hecate has an uncanny insight into people and situations. She often gets "feelings" about things and intuitively understands them. Sometimes Hecate has experiences of a psychic nature, such as getting strong feelings about there being a problem with a loved one, and discovering later that they were in an accident. Hecate herself does not really understand her intuition at a level which can be verbalized. Consequently, Hecate is protective of her inner self, sharing only what they choose to share when they choose to share it. She is a deep, complex individual, who is quite private and typically difficult to understand. Hecate holds back part of herself, and can be extremely secretive.

But Hecate is as genuinely warm as she is complex. Hecate holds a special place in her heart for people who she is close to, who are able to see her special gifts and depth of caring. Hecate is concerned for people's feelings, and tries to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. She is very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful Hecate into a state of agitation or charged anger. She tends to internalize conflict into her body, and experience health problems when under a lot of stress.

Because Hecate has such strong intuitive capabilities, she trust her own instincts above all else. This may result in stubbornness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. She believes that she’s right. On the other hand, Hecate is a perfectionist who doubts that she is living up to her full potential. Hecate is rarely at complete peace with herself - there's always something else she should be doing to improve herself and the world around her. She believes in constant growth, and doesn’t often take time to revel in her accomplishments. She has a strong value systems, and needs to live her life in accordance with what she feels is right. She has very high expectations of herself, and frequently of her family. She doesn’t believe in compromising their ideals.

Hecate is a natural nurturer; patient, devoted and protective. She will make a loving parent and usually have strong bonds with their offspring when the time comes.

She has a natural affinity for art, and also excels in the sciences, where she can make use of her intuition. She is not good at dealing with minutia or very detailed tasks. Hecate will usually avoid such things, but if it can’t be avoided she has a tendency to go to the other extreme and become enveloped in the details to the extent that she can no longer see the big picture.

Biographical
Myth:
The Greek goddess Hecate was the only one of the Titans who Zeus allowed to retain authority once the Olympians had defeated them. She was given the position within the new regime of being the guardian of the households and the protector of all that was newborn. This goddess of witchcraft was once highly revered and had great influence in the pantheon. Zeus shared with Hecate, and only her, the awesome power of giving humanity anything she wished (or withholding it if she pleased).Usually classified as a "moon goddess", her kingdoms were actually three-fold . . . the earth, sea, and sky. Having the power to create or withhold storms undoubtedly played a role in making her the goddess who was the protector of shepherds and sailors.
A lover of solitude, the Greek goddess Hecate was, like her cousin Artemis, a "virgin" goddess, unwilling to sacrifice her independent nature for the sake of marriage. Walking the roads at night or visiting cemeteries during the dark phase of the moon, the goddess Hecate was described as shining or luminous. In other legends she is invisible, perhaps only glimpsed as a light, a "will-o-the-wisp". Perhaps it was this luminous quality that marked Hecate as a "moon goddess", for she seemed quite at home on the earth.
The goddess Hecate features in the story of the abduction of Persephone and the wanderings of her mother Demeter. Hecate, known for her farsightedness, This farsightedness, the ability to see in several directions at once (even the past, present, and future) featured largely in her most famous myth, the abduction of Persephone. For it was the goddess Hecate who "saw" and told the frantic Demeter what had become of her daughter. The goddess Hecate continued to play an important role in the life of Persephone, becoming her confidante when she was in the Underworld. Hades, thankful for their friendship, was more than hospitable, honoring Hecate as a prominent and permanent guest in the spirit world. Surely this had the effect of enhancing her reputation as a spirit of black magic with the power to conjure up dreams, prophecies, and phantoms.
It wasn’t her fault however in falling in love with Persephone. After all it was Hecate who had found her, who had been there, who had saved her and tried to free her from her fate. And even though she had not been fully free of her fate it had been Hecate who stayed with her, who helped her who had always been there for her. Who had made the darkness ok; and yet Hades was the one who had gotten all the benefits. Hades who had gotten the love of the flower child. And as always Hecate was left alone.
Images of Hecate often depict of this "triple" aspect...showing her with three heads. It was said he could see in all directions, into the past, present, and even the future. Thus the crossroads were sacred to her, especially those with three roads that converged. In ancient times such intersections were often marked with three masks on a pole. And food was often left there to honor her and to feed those who traveled with her at night.
The reclusive Hecate (who was called the 'Queen of the Night') often enjoyed nightly jaunts, accompanied by her hounds and sometimes by a following of "ghosts" and others who were social outcasts. The goddess Hecate was known (and also feared) as the protector of those who were oppressed and also those who tended to live a bit "on the edge". Her role in the Underworld, Hecate's ability to see into the Underworld, the "otherworld" of the sleeping and the dead, made her comfortable and tolerant in the company of those most would shun out of fear or misunderstanding. Not surprisingly since Hecate had great influence in the "spirit world", appeals were often made to her for assistance in keeping one safe. She was known as a protector of young children, shepherds, and sailors. In addition, the goddess could be counted upon to help those who were dying, easing their transition into the "Otherworld" and helping them prepare for a return in their next life. Not surprisingly, the people thought it best to give the goddess Hecate (and any friends that might be accompanying her) a lot of honor and a fairly wide berth. When darkness descended they wisely retired to the fireside for supper, but put the leftovers outside as an offering to Hecate and her hounds. That the homeless and destitute were often the actual beneficiaries hardly mattered...after all, they were under Hecate's protection.
Not really known as a goddess of wisdom, per se, Hecate is nevertheless recognized for a special type of knowledge and is considered to be the goddess of trivia. Hecate's farsightedness and attention to detail, combined with her extraordinary interest in that which most of us discount as irrelevant or arcane, gave her tremendous powers. She knew what the rest of us did not. The Greek goddess Hecate reminds us of the importance of change, helping us to release the past, especially those things that are hindering our growth, and to accept change and transitions. She sometimes asks us to let go of what is familiar, safe, and secure and to travel to the scary places of the soul. New beginnings, whether spiritual or mundane, aren't always easy. But Hecate is there to support and show you the way. She loans her farsightedness for you to see what lies deeply forgotten or even hidden, and helps you make a choice and find your path. Oft times she shines her torch to guide you while you are in dreams or meditation. Hecate teaches us to be just and to be tolerant of those who are different or less fortunate, yet she is hardly a "bleeding heart", for Hecate dispenses justice "blindly" and equally. Whether the Greek goddess Hecate visits us in waking hours or only while we sleep, she can lead us to see things differently (ourselves included) and help us find greater understanding of our selves and others. Although her name may mean "The Distant One", Hecate is always close at hand in times of need, helping us to release the old, familiar ways and find our way through new beginnings.

War:
During the war Hecate could not do anything but side with Zeus, the god who had honored her and given her so much, she would not turn her back on what was given to her. In a way she felt she owed Zeus as much, and while it pained her greatly to fight against her family she would have made the same choice again.

Mortal:
Felicity was born on a cool spring morning in April in 1985 to Mary-Jean and Paul Robert Cummings and the only child the pair would produce. The first years of Felicity’s life would be relativity normal, some would even be picturesque. That would all change during Fee’s 6th year of life. Fey had been a relatively normal child, or as normal children can be anyway. But when she was 6 her grandmother passed away, Fey had been in the hospital room with her when she died and while she was not particularly fazed by the passing of her family member her mother was in tears; Fey hated seeing her mother like that so she crawled into her mothers lap and gave her a hug saying “It’s ok mommy. She’s happier now; she’s not in any pain anymore. She wants you to know that she loves you and anytime you want her close you should put on her pearls.” Something Fey insisted that her grandmother’s ghost had told her before she moved on. And that was just the start. Fey always had a knack for knowing things she shouldn’t know and ‘seeing’ things she shouldn’t see and having bizarre dream and ‘wakening dreams’ as well. At first her parents though it was just a game but as she grew older it became evident that it was not some sort of elaborate joke. And fearing for her sanity they placed Fey in a mental hospital. From the ages of 8 to 18 Fey was in and out of mental hospitals, she often joked to herself that it was her after school activity. But when she wasn’t in a clinic of some sort she followed a desire to dance, even dancing during her stays in hospitals after she learned enough to keep herself in shape between ballet lesions.
Fee didn’t mind the long stays in the hospitals, some of her best friends where made in them. She always had an affinity for social outcasts and the like, being able to relate to them well. When she was 14 she was finally diagnosed as being a ‘Functional Borderline Psychotic‘ and that was the label that stuck with her, while no doctor could pinpoint exactly what was ‘wrong’ with her they also could not deny the fact that she was not psychotic and had a relatively ‘normal’ mental health as well. They was why she was in and out so often, her parents where convinced something was wrong with her and the doctors could find no reason to make her stay and released her; so her parents would just find another place and another half of that. The years between her 16th and her 18th birthday she hardly remembers because she was so heavily medicated by her most recent doctor, this was why she moved out of her parent’s house shortly after her 18th birthday.
Felicity never believed that she was crazy, really, just special; but there will always be a part of her that thinks she is.
For a short time she lived with a few of her friends in a small apartment and attended community collage with a history major in mind. She began working at a small new age book store during her freshman year and became greatly involved with Wicca and they thoughts and religion behind it heavily devoting herself to the practices. During her sophomore year she moved into her own place and has lived there ever since with her 3 large dogs and massive amount books, she is also now a manager at said book store now, but having saved her money, and using some of her grandmother inheritance Fee was able to afford to go to Greece and stay for a few months on a sabbatical; something she has always dreamed of doing.
